9K a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago POSITION SUMMARY The Maintenance Manager/Environment Management Representatives primary responsibility is to ensure that equipment is safe, meets its intended use optimizing equipment up-time, manage and supervise Machine Maintenance workers and obtain and maintain ISO 14001 registration.
Reports administratively to the Plant Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Ensure maintenance on equipment, machinery, tools and proper records are consistently maintained.
Review, inspect, approve or disapprove of equipment, component or tool repair.
Manage and supervise major job repairs to machine, equipment or components.
Maintain all repair and component records for cost, warranty and trends in equipment wear and tear.
Oversee repair of equipment, machinery and tools are being performed safely, correctly and according to OSHA requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all listed above Complete all tasks or assignments as requested by Management or your Supervisor.
Report required organizational metrics to top management Support Quality Management Systems Follows all safety, housekeeping, and company policies and procedures.
Follow all environmental procedures concerning spills, containment and disposal of hazardous materials.
Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible manner and performs other related duties and assignments as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Education Journeyman (Skilled trades in hydraulic / electrical) or Equivalent.
Some college education with courses in Hydraulic circuits, blue print reading, components and Electrical circuits, in addition to a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience Minimum 6-8 years Machine Maintenance supervisor in an injection molding facility.
Minimum 8-10 years in skilled trade capacity working on Injection Molding machinery.
The Maintenance Manager shall have direct working knowledge of the following:
Set-up of plastic molding machinery.
Construction of injection molding machine and component parts.
Knowledge of safe and proper ways to disassemble, repair and reassemble machinery, and restore it to a safe and proper operating condition.
Skills to properly use equipment and tools to check and repair machinery.
