70 an hour 6 days ago 6 days ago 6 days ago Retail Sales Associate General Responsibilities This position provides customer service and merchandising in a Goodwill Retail facility in either a part-time or full-time capacity; also practices the agency's core values of Success, Collaboration, People and Positivity.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Functions Essential functions include but are not limited to:
Serve customers and team members in a knowledgeable, respectful manner Assist managers in meeting sales goals through customer service and merchandising Perform sales transactions accurately and in accordance with cash handling procedures Follow all retail and safety guidelines and procedures Maintain a standard of store cleanliness Maintain a professional appearance Follow the guidance and any duties assigned by the Retail Manager.
Required Skills and Abilities Ability to positively interact with customers Ability to perform as a team member Ability to follow detailed instructions Ability to perform a variety of sales transactions quickly and accurately Skill in multi-tasking and staying calm and focused under pressure.
Qualifications Demonstrated competence in interpersonal relations and communication Knowledge of basic mathematics Previous customer service experience preferred Previous retail experience preferred Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 35 pounds repeatedly, reaching, bending, twisting; extended periods of time standing Other Must be able to work a variety of hours and days of the week consistently May be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and theft-related criminal background check.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
